Recovery
Breast reduction is commonly an outpatient procedure. It is required that you have someone present to drive you home afterward and be with you for the first night. Drainage tubes may be placed in the incisions to remove excess fluids for the first day or so. Bruising, swelling, and discomfort after surgery are common, and oral pain medication can remedy this. A special surgical bra is worn around the clock for the first few days or weeks of recovery to ensure proper healing and promote blood circulation. Sutures are removed after seven to 10 days.

Breast reduction targets the underlying cause of this discomfort so you can fully participate in the activities you want.
Body Insecurities
Many women with cumbersome breasts develop them during adolescence. This early development often leads to body-image and confidence issues. Breast reduction can aid those suffering from embarrassment and provide a more balanced figure.
